SAI was founded by Bill Stiefel, Sr. in 1985. His four children Bill, Phil, John and Cheryl also joined the company, and they provide over 80 years of combined experience to food service operations in Michigan. Our success is due to representation of leading food service equipment manufacturers whose products can be used in every type of food service operation, including K-12 schools, universities, hospitals, long term care, chain restaurants, stadiums, fine dining restaurants, convenience stores and vending operations. These products are available through authorized dealers.

Philip Stiefel, President, Principal
Graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1984 with a BBA degree, marketing major. Zone sales manager for the Kohler Co. in Baltimore, MD from June 1984 until joining SAI 1/1/87. Earned CPMR in August 1998. Phil has an office in Grand Rapids.
John Stiefel, Vice President, Principal
Graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1985 with a BBA degree, majoring in business administration. Zone sales manager for the Kohler Co. in Buffalo, NY from June 1985 until joining SAI May 1, 1988. SNAM industy board member.
Bill Stiefel, Treasurer, Principal
Graduated from the Dr. Martin Luther College in 1982 with a BSE degree. Taught in elementary schools until joining AAL as a district rep selling insurance and investment products in 1989. Joined SAI 9/1/94.
Megan Bodell, Office Manager, Chain Account Specialist, Customer Service
Joined SAI September 2008. Prior 6 years in foodservice industry.
Nicole Koepke, Marketing & Data Processing
Joined SAI part-time in 2009, marketing and data processing.
Jodi Cartwright, Major Project Bid Management
Joined SAI February 2013. Prior 11 years experience at bid management.
Cathy Sytek, Customer Service
